This kit is intended for builders who are comfortable with electronics assembly and modification. Installation requires:
Basic soldering skills
Ability to program a PIC microcontroller using a PICkit programmer
Basic metalworking tools for cutting and filing the display opening
Ability to upload the supplied firmware HEX file to the ATU controller
PICkit programmer is not included.
The installer is responsible for backing up any existing firmware prior to reflashing.
Some enclosure modification is required.
