Position rear lid on the self alignment posts and center puch your drill holes.
Use a 3 mm or 1/8-inch drill bit to drill each end of the USB-C opening.
Carefully remove the remaining material between the holes.
Use a small file to clean up and finish the opening.
Test-fit the USB-C connector before completing your installation.
Always verify template alignment and USB-C connector positioning before drilling or modifying your enclosure.

Designed by CQ Homestead Supply for amateur radio operators, this Painter's Pole Antenna Mast Adapter provides an affordable and practical solution for supporting wire antennas during portable radio operations.
This digital download includes the STL file needed to 3D print your own adapter. The finished adapter screws onto the threaded end of a compatible extendable painter's pole, allowing you to quickly create a lightweight antenna support for POTA, SOTA, Field Day, camping, or temporary HF operations.
The adapter features four integrated attachment points. Three are designed for guy ropes to help stabilize the pole when extended, while the fourth provides an attachment location for a short rope and hook to support your wire antenna.
